Annah turns to Telrim, and seeing the woman smile, Annah figures she had done as expected. This is both pleasing and disconcerting. It reminded her of the look on Pharod's face, when she'd learned a new trick he'd taught her (often not realizing she was being taught until the lesson was finished). Sign of a working partnership, also sign she was being tested.
