Telrim presses back against the wall, trying not to stir the air or get too close to that scythe-like tail blade. Mikoto and Regulus won't be able to see it, but it's half-raised now, and the Controller tenses right along with it.
The Andalite steps aside for a minute, looking at the wall and floor where Telrim just passed - where she is... and then leaning out into the shaft, peering up and down simultaneously. Telrim's hand curls around her Dracon beam. She mustn't, mustn't, must not take him even though he's so close she could stun him and ram a boot into his flank, shove him into the lift shaft or better yet just vaporise the filth now...
She draws a slow breath, forces herself to watch the Andalite's eyes and not his tail. One of them is turning back to survey the corridor carefully.
