in_the_cracks: Sceptical Telrim (Thinking critically)

The corridors plainly go on for a very long way. Their guide happens to know them inside out, and they're shortly at a heavy-looking door requiring an access code to get in. Telrim hardy breaks stride as she taps it in and enters. If she had much attention to spare for it, the silent pair of aliens at her back would be very unsettling. She reminds herself that the code is useless from now on: no matter if they do memorise it.

Despite its thickness, the door slips open as swiftly as the others. Inside is a fairly large engineering lab, and the hum of electronics becomes definitely audible, from the analysis benches and containment fields. It won't be hard to see why they're here: laid out on the workbenches (or suspended above, in a couple of cases) are items of technology picked up from the Nexus.

Telrim does a quick tour of the benches, glancing over the readouts to check each specimen before she disables any forcefields. Her anger is palpable now, a silent aggression in the way she moves.

"Start by clearing this out." She catches a kind of glue gun as the suspension turns off, and lowers it to the bench. A quick tap on her PINpoint opens up a new and smaller forcefield. "Toss everything from the benches through there. I'll take care of the data. And the rest of containment." She's trying to keep her tone one of instruction, not command.
