Telrim knows it's not the blade itself that matters - it's the obscene speed and - even she must admit - lethal skill with which it's wielded. Watching the filthy creature swagger around her deck as if he has a right to be there makes her gorge rise.

She breaks off staring at his back when Regulus (sort-of) catches her eye. Reluctantly she shakes her head. They're still sweeping the area - this one looks like he's waiting for reinforcements. If they take him now it'll be obvious he's missing. Instead she backs off, trying to keep deathly silent until they're around the corner. Andalites, fortunately, tend to rely overmuch on their stalk eyes. This one's looking for movement, but not listening very closely.

Once in the side passage she can lead them on a somewhat winding route, aiming to stay ahead of the incoming search teams.
