Regulus is very uncomfortable at hearing words in his head like that. After all, if they can put words in there, what if they can pull thoughts out? The Andalite's condescending attitude is uncomfortably familiar to someone who once used such a tone quite often with those he'd considered beneath him. Always polite, but...
His train of thought about that is disrupted at the sight of the Hork-Bajir. That was no centaur-like thing. And some part of his mind is instantly relieved that Rabastan Lestrange is not here, as he can guess what his former dorm-mate would have said - a crude comment on the Hork-Bajir's possible parentage, involving too much firewhisky and dragon.
But he keeps quiet and still until the Andalite has passed, and then risks a glance towards Telrim. Do they continue on down the hall those two came from? If so, he plans to keep a close watch on that furry blue deer thing, in case it hears any move they might have to make. One twitch that seems like the Andalite knows they're there, and he's sure he can drop them with a stunner before they can raise an alarm... but would doing so raise an alarm on its own?
Mikoto remains calm and slightly curious. The thought-speech doesn't disturb her. There are settings for Terran computers that are not too dissimilar, when one wants privacy. Both aliens are visually studied as they pass, as she makes note of possible weaknesses. Most reptiles dislike cold, and the long neck looked like a good target for a knife. The slender and potentially breakable shapes of the Andalite's limbs catch a flicker of her interest as well. The tail does look dangerous, but unless it's also toxic she's seen worse.
